SEO copywriting is the process of writing content that is both informative and engaging, and that is also optimized for search engines. This means that the content is written in a way that will help it rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs). Read below for a debate around this term 😉

Is SEO copywriting the same as copywriting?

It depends. Are we writing for people or google? It’s been a debate for years. The winning argument is that we should write for humans and therefore Google learned to behave and understand as humans. If you are a believer in the above, then SEO copywriting and copywriting are synonyms. If you are a believer in the opposite then get your content, make sure it’s a result of very thoughtful keyword research, make sure you have the correct keyword density not to be annoying or boring for your readers, and tadaam you just became SEO copywriter… but wait, that was the goal anyhow right? to address your audience needs and not be boring or annoying while delivering value. That’s our point 😉

Is SEO copywriting redundant because of AI?


No, SEO copywriting is not redundant because of AI. While AI can be used to generate content that is optimized for search engines, it cannot replace the need for human copywriters who can understand the nuances of language and create content that is both informative and engaging.
Here are some reasons why SEO copywriting is still important:
a) AI-generated content is often not as well-written as human-generated content. AI can’t understand the nuances of language and often produces content that is repetitive, boring, or even nonsensical. b) AI-generated content is not as effective at engaging readers. Human copywriters can understand the target audience and create content that is relevant and interesting to them and c) AI-generated content is not as effective at building trust with readers. Human copywriters can establish credibility and build relationships with readers through their writing and emotions transfer.
